Mini Rating: Good: Great value, works with Apple Smart Cover and/or Apple Keyboard. The bad: Not as refined as Apple's - no padded interior, port cover placement not as precise. Full Review: I have several iPad Pros at home for development. Until recently, the Apple case was the only case that worked with the Apple Smart Keyboard. And like many others, I hesitate to buy cases for any iPad Pro. Then, when I saw this case, I jumped at the opportunity to try it. I bought both the blue and gray versions. (For those who must agree, the gray case matches the color of Apple's smart keyboard.) The case you get from KHOMO is excellent value for money. Works with other accessories. It protects the back of the iPad. That's great. What it doesn't give you is a little attention to detail, which the Apple case gives you: - More space for the smart socket than it should - In the long run, a lack of felt lining can mean dust/dirt getting trapped and on scratched on the back - It's a bit thinner than the Apple case - leads me to believe it's more about minimizing scratches on the back than drop protection - Solid holes in speaker area, no points - better for sound, worse for um Keeping dirt out - Turn up the volume / Bottom connector is cut out rather than a closed button - more difficult to use as the thickness of the case makes it difficult to find the protrusions - Lightning connector hole not plugged in - leaves you room to get the screen from edge to call/break, but provides easier connector access when using third-party cables with thicker connectors. All in all, with a $50 price difference, I think this case is worth the trade-offs.
