It was a lot heavier than I expected. I always try to lighten my load and this item is heavier than others I have used. The bubbles seem quite small compared to the lines on the tubes, I know the fastest and most accurate bubbles are the same size as the space between the lines. The light is bright, the button may be too easy to activate (not sure). The color of the light is pretty nasty - I think it contributes to his instant shut off lol. There was a slight milling error along a milling edge. Milling is quite rough, very rough and smooth. This is not a "self-leveling" design, meaning the magnets are on a flat edge rather than a "V-groove" edge. So the magnets are strong but on a pipe or conduit they may not match the length of the pipe. It comes with batteries installed. The battery cover is plastic but appears to be held in place with two small Phillips #1 or #0 screws. I'm not worried about the door, it seems solid. All that aside, I think the level of the torpedo will be "good" for me.
