I use kitchen cabinet locks and they work great! They are very easy to use, they are very versatile due to the open concept, they are easy to remove with one hand for adults or small children but difficult for my toddler :) Sometimes I use them on my barn doors to prevent the child from slamming his door. fingers between them (he likes to move the doors up and down the track). It helped a lot in that regard too. Two cons I found: I wish there was an option for a slightly longer version. I have a few closets where the locks are too short so I still have to use a headband to keep them closed :(Also the plastic could be a bit thicker/harder. Sometimes I think they'll break if my child pulls on cupboards. .
