Review on Men's Hiking Beach Sandals for Outdoor Adventures - Quality Men's Footwear by Pat Haberman

not very suitable for me

It's hard to tell if it's the design of the shoes or just how my feet fit in these sandals or combinations but they rub my foot uncomfortably on the back strap. It seems to me that the band sticks out a little there because of the plastic, so instead of sitting soft and smooth on me, it pinches a little there. The front strap fits and feels good. But no matter how I try to redo the back one, I still get the same problem. Otherwise, the fit can be a bit snug, but within the normal range (ie my toes aren't hanging out, they're just slightly higher than usual). Aside from the rubbing issue, they're not as comfortable to walk on as my last two Tevas, but they don't cause any discomfort (except for the rubbing mentioned earlier).

Pros
  • Fully adjustable. Great to wear while riding my recumbent trike!
Cons
  • May not be strong enough to withstand heavy use
