Good but hard to prove works 100%
I recently purchased this item and installed it myself today. I used plexiglass tubing from my copper line where my water softener was and it took 3 trips to the sawmill but it was actually pretty easy to install as the line was on a completely open unfinished lot. We just moved into this house and are not used to the unpleasant taste that we think the water softener caused and this filter improved the taste. The accumulation of minerals forms in a few months. But so far there seems to be an improvement.
