I bought this for my then 9 week old Conure to try to get him to sleep somewhere other than the bottom of the cage. He turns out to be 18 weeks old which was a false hope as he only sleeps next to me in the cat bed. :-P However, he prefers to play and sleep during the day when he should be in his cage. He likes that he has a second layer that he can climb into and just stick his head out. Hiding is one of his favorite pastimes. My 10 month old cockatiel has also started to show interest in her. They fly during the day so when the cage is open she sneaks in and naps in it.
