Review on Sennheiser HD 2.30G Black Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Mike Mitchell

Given the negative reviews posted here, I was very hesitant to purchase this product. After unpacking, I found that the headband is not adjustable and the headphones sit firmly on the head. But once I found that the headphones with ear cups can be adjusted to fit my head, I found a very comfortable fit. The fit is snug, the soundproofing is good, but you can still hear noises in the room. After listening to a variety of music, I found the sound spectrum balanced with a punchy but not overpowering undertone. The headphones reproduce the recorded sound very well, if the recording was muddy, I heard muddy music. If the recording was crisp and clear, that's what I heard. I listened to music from Apple and Amazon music services. I have had other Sennheiser products including the px100. This product is a winner for me and continues the great tradition of Sennheiser headphones. The only drawback for me is that the volume control is located next to the ear cup.
