Review on 🌑️ Thermaltake Pacific CL360 64mm Thick Copper Radiator: High-Performance Liquid Cooling System by Troy Houston

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A good radiator with an annoying flaw.

This heatsink is pretty good overall, it dissipates heat fairly well, the slightly lower fin density means it works well with most if not all fans and doesn't block airflow although it looks a bit reduced The number of fins doesn't seem to affect performance. It comes with all the hardware needed to attach it to the case as well as install the fans. All in all it's a good product with one major downside which is that they use plastic plugs to block unused ports (there are 5 ports, two on each side for entry and exit and one on top, I think, for refilling of the system) , the top one is a high quality knurled metal plug with a rubber O-ring, while those on each side are cheap plastic. They have a slot for a flathead screwdriver for tightening, but to tighten it enough to prevent tiny leaks takes enough force to damage those plastic plugs, which is fine if you tighten them and forget like me, but repeated Tightening and loosening will most likely leave you with broken connectors. Not a huge issue, but given the low cost of using all the metal plugs that they've obviously already made for them, and the rather high cost of the product, it seems odd and a little unacceptable that they've gone with those plastic plugs instead. I don't see anyone minding paying an extra 20 cents for forks that are better suited for this application. Everything aside? It works as intended and can easily run a graphics card and processor with a properly configured fan and apart from that one oversight, seems to be a pretty good quality product.
