Very cute but totally impractical. ONLY buy it if you are looking for a conversation starter, IF it was capable of cracking a nut, just a walnut would suffice due to the size of the hole used to attach the nut. However, due to its construction, I don't think it's capable of cracking a nut without falling apart.
