Reliable power solution for some iPhone models

It has a strong plug and works well for iPhone charging. As with many chargers, the plug got hot when I was charging my iPhone 8 Plus. It was nice to have the plug wrapped in a clear material that needs to be removed to give it a matte white finish. Until it gets dangerously hot. The end of the cable that connects to the phone feels solid. It offers multiple outputs: 5V/3A, 9V/2A and 9V/2.22A. The maximum output power is 20W. It is RoHS compliant, which I found online means it is among the Maximum allowable concentrations of 10 prohibited substances is: Cadmium (Cd): < 100 ppm Lead (Pb): < 1000 ppm Mercury (Hg): < 1000 ppm Hexavalent Chromium: ( CrVI) < 1000 ppm Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB): < 1000 ppm Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs): < 1000 ppm Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): < 1000 ppm Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): < 1000 ppm Phthalate (DIBP): < 1000 ppm. The review asked if it was suitable for travel. I wouldn't recommend it for two reasons: (a) It's larger than the plugs that come with iPhones that Apple sells, although it takes a lot longer to charge - if you're charging overnight on a trip, the fast charge might play into play not important ( b) The pins of the socket do not interlock and can be bent in the luggage. My iPhone is in a Mophie battery case, so it doesn't have a Lightning connector, but it does have a USB-C connector. So I had to remove the Mophie case (now ZAGG) to use the Lightning connector. My favorite cable offers both ends on the same cable. It has a USB-C end that plugs into a very short USB-C lightning socket. So the tiny cable can be plugged in and unplugged at the end, offering both options. I didn't see the "Made for iPhone" logo on the box, which would improve the product's reputation. As such, this is a solid fast iPhone charger if you want to charge it wired rather than wirelessly.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
