Installation was very easy. The holes on my truck (2002 Ram) have an edge that folds inward. Mounting hardware slides past the lip to hold it in place. The only problem I have is that after installing it there is a game. It's secure, but can slip a bit, resulting in the mount not being level with the bed. Not a big problem to use, I just love aligning things. I've straightened them all but I can see them moving over time. I tightened the screws nice and tight (it is recommended not to overtighten) but there was still some movement. I also added threadlock to the screws as I could see them eventually loosening. Overall, I'm glad I bought them and will buy them again.
