Review on Dorman 56283 Passenger Plastic Backed by Tom Ball

Item will be delivered without instructions. I had to find a video online to learn how to properly remove the old mirror backing from the turntable with as little damage as possible. There are 3 clips on the swivel base which are NOT included with the new mirror. Removing the old mirror broke 2 out of 3 due to 12 years of dust, dirt and other contaminants. I used a Perle GOOP all purpose glue where the broken tabs were and the replacement was done. For the price, a new baseplate could be part of the deal, but it's not. Does OEM Mercedes include this part? I will never know!
