Not compatible with printers and accessories

I bought this ink for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710. After putting the ink in the printer it said it was incompatible and would not print. The packaging clearly states that this ink is compatible with my printer, so I don't understand why it is showing as incompatible. Can someone please help me with this problem.
