beautiful helmet. My son loves this. However, it is definitely not for 5-8 year olds. My son is 4.5 (height 39 inches, height 40) and this fits him just right. It's very cool, so of course we couldn't bring him back or break his heart. However, it is designed for heights of 50-54 cm and not up to 57 cm, as is clearly stated on the packaging (age 3+ is also written there, not 5+). He won't be able to wear it any longer than the toddler helmet we are phasing out which is very disappointing. I also find that it doesn't sit very well on the head. I had to do a lot of fiddling with the straps to get it to fit properly. In addition, the flame is a foamy material. I hope they're better and he doesn't crush them.
