They're a matte white color so don't seem fancy enough for special occasion gift bags, but you can certainly use them for a baked gift, or you can also tie a bow to 'disguise' them a bit. They also work well in party bags or bags used at a wedding to wrap cake slices to ship home. If you are creative, they will be easy to decorate. At $14.39 for 50 bags, they average 29 cents each, which is not a bad price for this type of bag.
