Unlike some other models I've bought, this stand allows you to take the key right out of the drawer. My shelves are in a very large tool cabinet. So getting them in and out is of the utmost importance. Other racks "hang" on a wrench, making installation and removal difficult. As a bonus, the "short" slots make it easier to see the size of the key. I hate throwing away good racks, but this works so well that I have to replace other "opposite" racks.
