To get straight to the point, I'm guessing this is a real hydroflask. Maybe a marriage from a hydroflask or some other plant. I have 5 hydroflasks from local stores or breweries. The casting is different and the logo lacks the circle "R", the symbol of a registered trademark, as well as the name. Go to your local store and check them out, that circle R will be on all of them. By the way, I bought two here, one has an R mark. The lid is fairly watertight unless you pick it up and shake it upside down. why would you do that If it's on its side, it won't leak. Everything seems fine, I'll have to compare my local sporting goods bought in 32oz and these to see if there's a difference in preserving frozen ice.
