I was really looking forward to this rug. The color (forest green) is perfect for my home. The size is perfect for my mud room (47" x 35"). The cleanability of the carpet is excellent. I just can't get the thing to lie down! The information provided states that it may take two days for the material to relax and level. The problem is how they fold and twist the rug. One half of each edge has either an edge that rises and the other half folds down. Since they had folded the mat in half, rolling it in the opposite direction still wouldn't allow all the edges to lay flat. I've tried turning the mat over and leaving it face down for a few days. I tried rolling the mat in the opposite direction of the original roll. i won't lie In the photos you will notice that the problematic edges are diagonal to each other. UPDATE - I've had the rug for over a week now. I laid out albums all over the mat, both right side up and face down, for 48 hours. However, I kept it in a very well heated room. The two edges are still wrapped and it has creases from the packaging. I know others have had similar issues that seem to be resolved in about 48 hours, but I feel like the way this rug is packaged ruined this rug forever.
