At first, my German Shepherd wanted nothing to do with it. I have come to expect this when trying out new foods since he is a very determined and headstrong dog. I never assume that it means the food isn't good, though, because he is the epitome of "creature of habit." He gets into a routine and if it isn't his usual brand, he treats it as something he isn't supposed to eat and ignores it. Once he is introduced to it properly, he takes right to it, and only then can you determine if he likes it or not. I'm not sure if other dogs act like this, but if your dog doesn't seem interested, they may need a little time.I really like what's in it. They seem like there was genuine concern in using quality ingredients and the proof is in the "end result." There were no adverse effects after he ate it, in fact, it seemed like there was less which is a good sign. Best of all, he enjoys it and he experienced no gas, diarrhea, or itching. He gobbles it up and I like the peace of mind that he's getting good ingredients without overwhelming fillers, artificial colors, or low-quality meat meals.It seems a little pricey but you get what you pay for, and for that, I think it's worth it.2 paws up and 5 stars!
