This is one of those unique tools that comes in very handy when you need it. Easy to use, comes with a pre-installed CR-2032 battery plus a spare battery. It also includes a nice case. It can measure thickness in both inches (up to 0.41 inches) and millimeters (10.5mm), and accuracy seems consistent. I am very happy. I think a larger version that can measure material up to 4 inches would be a good addition to the range and would appeal to professionals who care about accuracy. If you need a quick and accurate means of measuring the thickness of materials, this is a great device.
