I love these hangers so much I replace all my "velvet" hangers with them. Why? They're nice and thin, like velvet hangers. But they are durable, while velvet hangers often break when I put something heavy on them or move them aside to make room to hang something else. They rotate too. I like all my clothes hanging the same way in the closet and I often had to turn clothes, take them off the hanger, turn the hanger the other way and hang them up again. Very annoying. It's also great that I can thread the hanger through the neckline without stretching the collar. I hated constantly hanging hangers through the bottom of my turtlenecks etc. These hangers hold clothes well and you can hang a scarf or tie on them. They also have clips for hanging delicate items with flimsy straps that always slip off. And unlike the velvet type, there is no cut-out in the temple for these thin straps. Hooray! These dips left marks on my clothes and made them look weird on my shoulders. I am VERY happy with these hangers. I even gave some to an elderly relative who had just shrunk and now has a small closet. Now she can hang more things in her closet. And although I don't fold my pants when hanging them, these hangers can be used for that too. The only improvement I would suggest is adding a slip guard to the opening for ties and scarves.
