Review on Aurora AU608MB Micro-Cut Paper Credit Card Shredder with 3.5-Gallon Wastebasket, 4-Minute Continuous Running Time, High Security Level P-4 by Andrew Dodd

I replaced a paper shredder with 8 sheets of staples that lasted 8 years and worked very well. I really like this Aurora AU608MB model. It's quieter than the Staples model. This is a micro cut, not a cross cut, so the pieces will be cut much smaller. I've read some reviews about "received used shredder", "fire issues" and "page count issues". The shredder comes with paper stating that each machine is tested before dispatch and therefore there may be a few pieces of shredded paper on arrival - so this is not a problem for me. The manual says the user should turn off the shredder and unplug it when not in use, so fire doesn't seem to be an issue to me when I do. As far as the number of pages that can be processed at the same time, I never exceed the specified maximum with any shredder - so far I have limited myself to shredding one page at a time with this 6-page shredder. time, and sometimes 2 pages together. I also stick to the grind time limit. I am very happy with this grinder.
