Someone might like this walkie-talkie. It looks good and works well for about 80 feet in a city. I bought this for communication so we can contact my boy who is starting to walk to and from school because we didn't want to increase our cell phone time. Judging by the price and reviews, this pair works. As soon as we received this my boy and I tried to talk to each other as we walked away. I don't know if we use them outdoors or for a ski trip, they might work. However, they began to lose signal when I was barely half a block from my boy. I'm sending them back. Although if I bought them as toys we would be happy.
