All right. Split arrived at junction/hinge. I was able to assemble it fairly easily, but I might as well break it down. He was twisted too. Thus there is an unintended tilt to either side of the pallet. Because of this, the paint is definitely flowing in the wrong direction instead of being flat. I'll try to even it out again with a heat gun, but I don't need to fiddle with it. The truth is that it will be more difficult to return. This is the same plastic pallet available from 20 different suppliers and well-known brands. Nothing special.
