Works well for municipal water
I installed a dual municipal water filter in my home. I didn't want fabric softener as I don't like the added wasted water and the feel in the shower. This helped remove the iron in the water which turned white surfaces red (toilets, showers, sinks). etc.) It wasn't that things were dirty, only things were stained with iron. Photo effects and filter settings. These are 2 BB-20 filter housings with pleated paper, then a carbon filter to clean water of other "things".
