Rust spots and metal shavings on packaging and tool
Tools should always be thoroughly cleaned before packing! The packaging and tool had numerous small rust spots and tiny pieces of metal that had come loose from the tool. A sliver of metal hit my thumb within seconds of opening the box. Very painful and difficult to remove. This vise belonged to my father and grandfather. But it is sad to realize that this instrument is no longer made in the USA. This vise is a good size for medium sized women's hands.
