UPDATE: I bought another one online and the price went from $21.99 to $53.99! During this health crisis, it's a shame to take advantage of people who are already struggling financially due to unemployment! I no longer recommend this company. There are many other companies with cheaper thermometers with great reviews that don't overcharge! This thermometer is accurate and constant. I've used many thermometers in the past, but the only thermometer I could find that was consistent every time was digital oral thermometers. If I don't move the Fora IR42 thermometer between measurements, I keep getting the same readings. If I move it and measure the temperature in another place, the reading is within 0.5 degrees. This is understandable as body temperature varies slightly throughout the body. My family nurse introduced me to this thermometer. She bought it for her patients and was happy with the results. I need to take my temperature daily so accuracy is paramount! I used to pay three times as much for a non-contact Thermoscan thermometer. It's not as accurate as this and broke within the first year of use.
