The skeg broke off my late 80's Mercury 115 "Tower Of Power” when I bought it. Even though a few people told me everything would be ok, I still wanted everything to be ok. I had to wait a bit to get it, but it was worth the wait. It arrived this morning. I installed it very easily by poking into the rest of my broken skeg and drilling holes to mount it. I had to trim one of the Chicago bolts to get it properly tightened, but this is a perfect replacement compared to a $1500 repair!
