I like the size of these candles and the affordable price. They are not fancy, there is no remote control. They have an on, off and TIMER mode. The timer mode works for 6 hours on and 18 hours off. These candles do not flicker :( they are waterproof and suitable for outdoor use. I use them in my large lantern on the covered porch. I originally put a 7" candle inside which looked lost. For reference the overall height of my lantern is Measures 26" tall. The square of the box is 17" high and 7.5" wide. My only problem with candles is that the bottom battery cover is really hard to open. How to crack mail, an arthritic finger is impossible to open! Even the instructions warn how difficult it can be to open I had to use pliers with which I easily snapped the middle tab you use to twist the lantern!nice amber color that catches the eye from the street ivory candle these oversized candles are 25, Measuring 1.5" tall and 4" wide, they create a majestic look into any large room. They don't look like flames, but for less than $30, that's a great discount on two battery operated 10 inch LED candles. I'm happy with my purchase but wish the flames flickered and the battery compartment was easier to open. 4.5 stars are more appropriate.
