So I wore the shoes for about a month or more in the middle of winter and early in the sales season. I live in Alaska and thought they would be great for winter running. ADVANTAGES: Thanks to the stretchable tongue, they keep the snow off your shoes. Pretty neat - you're comfortable! The gain is real. - No laces. Minuses - these are not slip-ons. You need both hands to get them. The price you have to pay to keep the snow out I guess. - No grip at all on ice. I was expecting some grip on the ice but it's not here. GENERALLY I love the Ultra Boost and it's a great addition. I like how they protect against snow and feel comfortable. Traction on snow is good, but it doesn't help at all on ice. Impossible to slip, but I understand why.
