From time to time I get lucky with shoes/sandals that fit me. I don't have sketchers, I may have tried them before, but I probably had to return them. I took a chance with them when I was looking for a sockless trainer to wear in warmer weather and rain. I recently went to New York in sandals and poured it on and regretted it. My feet got wet. I wear between 9 and 9-1/2 and medium to wide. In closed shoes I wear 9-1/2 medium or wide. I wear 10 wide in sneakers. I ordered them from 9-1/2 Medium. As soon as I opened them I realized they were a bit too big and I was happy. I have bursitis and need to be careful. I can't afford to put pressure on him. These are also easy. Fits perfectly, the length is perfect. My heel slips a little. However, not a factor to return. Also, my feet swell a bit from running and the heat. So for those who think, length is on target. They are a little wide so if you are thin they may not fit unless you wear socks with them. I recommend them. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't worn them outside yet and I've walked a lot. However, I don't expect any problems.
