Bought and fitted to a 2006 Ford F-150 with a 5.4 liter V8 which solved a misfire problem I was having. Worked well until I misfired again about a year later (cylinder #3). The seller quickly sent me a replacement coil (I assumed the coil was defective) and I installed it the same day. I decided to check the spark plug on this cylinder while I was there and that's when my evening took an unexpected turn. It turned out that the ground electrode had completely detached from the candle. Not when I took it off on my way home from work the day I noticed the misfire. I examined the inside of the cylinder as best I could, bought and installed a new spark plug and same coil. The test drive went flawlessly. I hope the loose electrode went through the exhaust valve and out of the engine, now I'm having a beer while considering how this might affect my upcoming 3000 mile journey.
