I bought these to keep the cat away from my bedroom door at night when I'm sleeping. She keeps scratching the door when she tries to come in but keeps me up all night when she's in my room. I made a rug out of this that I put outside my door every night so she can't scratch it and it works great! The only downside is that the tiles don't stick together, so if you have to lift and place them a lot, they fall apart. However, I just glued the seams together with hot glue and that fixed everything.
