Comfy Play Shorts

My daughter plays basketball. And if you're a parent of a girl who plays basketball, your eyes have been opened to the lack of girls' sportswear on the market. Women's high-top basketball shoes and women's basketball shorts are virtually non-existent. So I end up buying boys red, black and gray basketball suits to make ends meet or she practices in yoga clothes, which is a real shame. I was looking for longer shorts that she could wear over her yoga shorts to play basketball. These shorts fit my daughter somewhere between a boy and a girl. They're tighter than the typical little boy, but not tight for yoga. Pockets in the side seams, no fly (real or fake) and no back pockets - these features ensure a gender-neutral look. I didn't like the white drawstring on the black pants, but that's just a minor detail. Small fit. My daughter wears plus sizes in almost all of her boy shorts. These larger sizes are slightly narrower and better suited to smaller children. The black pair is also significantly smaller than the red pair. Otherwise it is children's clothing of medium weight, simple, easy to care for. They wash well without much care. The black pair is also significantly smaller than the red pair.
