This modem is at full capacity. I bought it to install on my Win98 system. It's a hardware modem so it should be faster and I play some online games. boy it's fast I have never connected below 46K. Here's the best part: it has jumpers! This is the only modem I could find with jumpers. This works on my new Linux system. Another interesting detail is the connector for connecting a sound card to a modem, so you don't need bad speakers for hands-free calls and speech. The highest rating. THIS IS GREAT and worth the extra $30 to stay away from ISA Winmodem.
