Just awful

This knife is beautiful, durable and looks very professional. However, I've found that even if I keep my left hand horizontal on the paper while cutting, the bottom of the paper doesn't stay flat, but instead flexes as the blade is lowered, resulting in a crooked cut. Also, there is a safety loop under the end of the blade and you have to hold this loop up and to the right to cut while making sure you hold the blade to the left, close to the knife of course. . I'm sorry, I can't imagine that. This is an automatic safety loop and there are strict warnings on the cutter to remove it. If you don't hold it, it will dangle under the blade, preventing you from finishing the cut. With the best of intentions, this is undoubtedly a wonderful security feature. It also makes it the most annoying cutter I've ever used. I'll be returning it immediately and trying out the X-Acto 18x18 which I can see inch and metric markings don't get mixed up like they do with their smaller size.

Pros
  • Paper scissors and blades
Cons
  • Not sure
