I needed a new key for my 2012 Honda Civic. The dealer was too expensive and I came across this key and programmer. It arrived faster than I expected, I called a few local places to have the key cut, I ended up doing it on my local $10 ACE hardware and then programmed it with step-by-step instructions in less than a minute. in the ACE parking lot. The key worked great and looks like the original, and after programming it works like the original, all buttons work fine. The programmer has a dial with 8 different selector switches, I only used #1 as advertised I have no idea what the rest of the options are all about.
