When I dropped my netbook and shattered the screen, the store that sold it to me told me it would only cost $20 less to fix than a new one - I wasn't happy. I searched the internet for repair options and found that the screen is sold as a separate item and there are several videos on YouTube showing how to install it. I've never done a computer repair before, but when the newly installed screen lit up, I have to admit that I was very pleased with myself, and you can be pleased with yourself too, as it's very simple. Also, the project only cost $40 instead of $210.
