If you live counting money, you must understand that there is no point in watching movies and especially TV (even cable) in such a good TV set! Watch YouTube 5-10 times in 4K HDR and that's it. Next comes insight. Terrestrial television in 2022 is SD (576p). Ordinary digital set-top boxes and various Kinopoisks are usually HD (1080p, i. E. 1920 × 1080). Movies in 4K are rare even on paid services. Even digital high definition TV is 2K (1440p or even i = interlaced scan). But the coolest thing is that from 2-3 meters (the usual distance for watching movies) you will not see much difference between 1080p and 2160p (4K), and even more so between 2R and 4K.

This telly is revealed when it works as a MONITOR!

Games in 4K - this is what it is definitely worth buying it for. That's just for this you must have a good computer with NVidea GTX 4090 no less. At worst, the GTX 3080 Ti even at maximum settings you will not see more than 80 FPS in modern games, which is more than 60 frames in conventional monitors and TVs, but is very different from the 120 that this TV is capable of delivering.

And in addition, at the time of publication of the review, this is the best TV set for those who want to have 4K and 120 Hz with HDR in games on a top-end computer and the ability to watch movies in 4K. If you have horses or a dead computer, do not spoil the village mood. To watch on-air channels, it is also better to take something less expensive. Well, if you're not saving a day, then this is simply the best TV on the market. For movies, you will have to get a MODERN Blu-ray player or, again, a computer with a modern video card capable of delivering 4K 120 Hz and HDR. And this can only be done by devices equipped with HDMI 2.1 and via an HDMI 2.1 cable (and not everyone).

Pros

TV is awesome! I have experience with 55" and 42". * Brightness - 5 points. * 120Hz at 4K HDR. * Very diverse settings. * Very fast processor and debugged software (after ate). YouTube, both from the phone and through the remote control, starts with lightning speed! Chromecast is simply not needed (from slower). Built-in and downloadable software works very quickly and efficiently. The first TV set where the cell does not blunt and does not crash. * The picture in the films is excellent. It goes without saying. * The text from the computer also looks great, but it requires adjustments. However, 55 "is unlikely to be used as the main monitor. So this applies more to the 42" model. It's perfect for games. * 55" and 65" have a new, advanced matrix that does not give off blue, etc. * All software for our market (Kinopoisk, Okko, etc.) works fine. * There is a built-in browser that shows high-definition video from porhab or pirate sites without any problems. The video quality is decent though. * It is possible to connect external acoustics via bluetooth, optics, return channel | HDMI. * You can connect an external keyboard and mouse. The mouse thus works as the pointer of the panel. The right button, unfortunately, does not work. * Is there sound. Not awesome. But quite decent for a TV set. Better than many more expensive monitors. You can't get much more in a box like this. * Two voice assistants. Esdekovskaya Alice and LG-shny. About this in a comment. But keep in mind that buying this TV as just a TV for watching terrestrial (or even cable) channels does not make sense! About this comment.

Cons

OLED fades over the years. But this is a technology issue. For phones, this is not critical, but TVs have been used for 10+ years. MOST TVs sold here are GRAY! Many sellers (and is only an integrator) instead of OLED55C2RLA or OLED55C2RLB bring OLED55C2LA (without R). And that means it's a GRAY TV. Most likely produced in Poland for the European market and reflashed by craftsmen. In terms of functionality, it almost does not differ from that designed for the CIS market, but it will not have an Alice button and it can get banned from LG. The ban automatically occurs if you try to change the country (it doesn’t matter if you are connected to the Internet or not). The good news is that changing countries is not so easy. This can only be done from the service menu, which cannot be accessed without exploring the webOS geek forums. Also in the future, LG may release a patch that will turn your TV into a monitor, i. E. all programs will be disabled including the built-in browser. They write on the forums that even RLA / RLB may not be covered by the LG warranty if they are not PCT (assembled in the 2022). It seems like white TVs have a black box. The absence of the Alice button on the remote control is not critical. The TV has a voice assistant LG ThinQ called by holding the microphone button. True, he recognizes 2022 much worse. But he knows how to search through all the content and manage TV settings, while Alice only searches through Kinopoisk. + TV can be controlled from your phone. If you took a gray TV, I advise you to ate the system once (the first time the ate goes well) and turn off automatic ates. True, if a new ate appears, you will be tormented by the offer to install it. You can ban LG ate server URLs in the router. Another potential downside is webOS, LG's proprietary OS for TVs. It is based on Linux just like Android TV. But for Android TV, there are more applications and it is an open platform, unlike webOS. In other matters, for the average user, this is not so important. Samsung is even worse.
