I bought this to stream music from my phone to my camper stereo as a cheaper alternative to upgrading the entire stereo. It works both indoors and outdoors, which is very convenient during the campfire. My phone plugged in right away and the stereo has a USB port so I basically leave it plugged in so it doesn't die. My only complaint is the volume. If my phone's volume is set to maximum, I need to turn my stereo up to 12 or higher. Stereo 2 is sufficient for FM.
