The only reason for mentioning my fault is to tell you how long the lamp lasts. I set it up in a small kitchen in my son's apartment and came across a metal ceiling beam. I left it hanging (with no lid on) while going downstairs to grab other anchors and move it around a bit. As you can imagine, it hit the ceramic tile floor with a thud. I plugged it in thinking I'd order a new one, but it immediately caught fire. I never expected it to be strong enough to withstand a 9ft fall! No dent. The only other issue was that light was so bright that I had to change the color scheme. So if you're worried about "if it's going to be bright enough," then that shouldn't be a problem. Finally; Even my wife liked it and we don't agree on anything.
