Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Panasonic NN-SU696S 1.3 cu.ft. Stainless Steel/Silver Microwave Oven by Chris Hernandez

Good oven, a unique selling point and a few small negatives

I was very satisfied with the function of this device. One thing I don't like is the lack of light inside when the door is opened - the light is ON ONLY during operation - such a silly design decision. One unique feature that I think works really well and makes this oven stand out is the cook and reheat sensor. As I said, this works really well for me, but you REALLY need to read and understand the manual - many products require heating up or the addition of a few tablespoons of water for them to work properly. To put it simply, this feature works by simply controls the steam that builds up in the oven during cooking; when the steam gets thick enough, it knows the food is hot. This feature changes one thing about how the oven works compared to all the "standard" microwaves I've used over the years - all conventional ovens seemed to release steam and moisture during cooking, and I've never had this when opening notes oven door.In this model, it is necessary to keep the steam inside, which is noticeable after the food has been heated - in some cases it is necessary to be careful not to burn yourself on the steam when you pick up the plate ! You never have to use the sensor cooking function. , but there is always steam in it, no matter how you control the device. Other than that, the features and controls are very similar to other microwave ovens and they suit me perfectly.
