I use a high performance system to mostly do Photoshop and run Folding@home and BOINC compute grids. Corsair Dominator memory (two 16 GB sticks) easily warmed up to 42-44 degrees C under high load, which sometimes caused memory errors. The air cooling of this device reduced the operating temperature to 36-37 degrees Celsius and the difference between the two sticks to 0.5 degrees Celsius, which is just amazing. The only downside is that I can't get it to work well with the Corsair iCUE software as it was designed to work with its LINK predecessor. I can turn on one light, the other, or both, and I have no control over the color. As I don't mind the lights much I leave them on, but be aware this is an old design (circa 2015) and expensive for its capabilities.
