These shoes are exactly as described. I am happy with the quality. They arrived 3 weeks early which was fantastic as the dancing shoes I've been using every day for the last year broke just a few days before they arrived. Her hacking only took a day and a half. The first day the balls of my feet burned. There wasn't much padding in that area, so I added insoles in that area. It got better the next day. By the third day it felt like I had been using them forever. They are so beautiful, durable and comfortable. I have them in champagne and I love it. You are exactly what I needed. If you read the description it says the actual heel height is 2.36 inches which was fine with me. I ordered dance shoes the same size as always and they were just right. I had to add holes in the straps to make them tight enough. . never mind Make sure you measure where the hole should be when she's on her feet. You may need to add two to match the other holes. So if you wear thick tights or socks with it you still have a hole and you're good for that situation (but then take them off so you don't pinch!) Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. They are strong and I have already had comments that my balance has improved. I feel like it's really holding me back.
