Review on 🚰 White Aquaphor DWM-202S Under Sink Filter by Felicita Carwallo ᠌

I am very upset, the product is no good.

Osmosis worked flawlessly for 7 months, today it squeaked something (according to the wife), but did not turn off, caught up with pressure and started to flow. Now it doesn't turn off at all. Draining water according to the instructions also does not work. The support said that since it was not installed by a "licensed" master, this may not be a warranty case and the repair will be at my expense and first it is necessary to replace the filters, and they cost 5 thousand. Actually the service is only in Hong Kong. Calling a master 70 km from Hong Kong costs about 5 thousand without repair. A total of 10 thousand for filters and calling a master + possibly non-warranty repairs. I just bought a new osmosis from another company adding a little. But the most interesting thing is this: having disassembled this "miracle", it turned out that from the electronics there is only one simple board with a button and light bulbs. Only 6 power wires come to it from 3 penny mechanical valves and a conventional pump. The principle is similar to a pressure switch - there is a valve with a soft spring at the inlet, under water pressure it is pressed through and the button for turning on the boost pump is pressed. There is a similar valve at the outlet, but the spring is tightened there more tightly - the button is pressed at a higher pressure. When the button is pressed at the outlet, the pump turns off, that is, when the set pressure is reached. There is also a solenoid valve for draining water from the membrane - it turns on cyclically and drains water. This is all that somehow works in conjunction with the board. That is, the filters themselves are not connected to the board in any way, and in NO way can it know about their contamination! The reason for the breakdown is banal: in the very valve at the outlet, which should turn off the pump when the desired pressure is reached, the cap that rests on the adjustment screw fell off, falling down, it stood in the strut of the mechanism and did not allow pressing the button. As a result, the pump did not turn off, it overtook pressure, tore the membrane, the rubber bands in the water discharge valve. In the photo, everything that is inside this osmosis. What technologies are we talking about, I did not understand. Everything is like in osmosis 1.5-2 times cheaper, just in a candy wrapper .

Pros
  • Compact Filters water quickly Filters water well
Cons
  • Broke after half a year There is no "smart" notification about replacing cartridges, there is just a timer that flies when the power is disconnected for a long time. Therefore, it is worth changing cartridges strictly according to the time of real work. It is not smarter than any other osmosis with a pump at all. The pump does not turn off in case of blockage and osmosis may leak Full warranty only when installed by a master
