Review on 🚰 OMNIFilter Sediment Reduction Cartridge for Enhanced Filtration by Bill Wieser

The ability to change the cartridge without turning off the network is advertised. Not true! When your lines are connected, water will spurt everywhere no matter how hard you turn the bypass valve. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it filters my water for 4-6 months between cartridge changes. Another thing, it needs support so you can unscrew the cartridge without unscrewing the entire unit from the plumbing. No matter how hard I try to apply enough force to dislodge the body of the cartridge, everything moves and water flows down the sides for weeks. I always keep a bucket under this thing. Luckily I have enough rust in the water to stop the leak until the next cartridge change. :)
