I love the look and geometry of this new Wake handlebar stem. I paired it with a wake handlebar and the overall feel of the bike has greatly improved. The new stem brought the handlebar a bit closer which makes the bike feel more agile and easy to turn. This stem was also a lot lighter than the stock big box steel part it replaced, which has improved the feel of the bike. I can’t get over the look either - it make me feel like my Walmart Schwinn is a bit closer to being a proper mountain bike.If you’re putting this on your bike, be sure to buy some extra stem spacers as you will likely need to add or adjust the sizing to get the new stem to sit right. This is very easy to do provided you have the spacers (which I also got on revain)
