I'm not a huge fan of streaming because of the audio, but I have to say I'm impressed with this article. My iPhone uses the AAC codec and my Mac uses the aptX codec, which sounds much better. I like how the central "iFi" indicator on the front changes color when changing codecs. It's easy to connect and easy to find by browsing the Bluetooth menu. Also, it's well built with a protruding antenna for longer range. I hooked it up to my old receiver, hooked up my iPhone 8 and streamed non-stop all day. I personally bought this product because iFi makes a well established phono preamp so I thought it would be a well thought out product and I was not disappointed. Two other notes: when idle, the blue Hz indicator flashes slowly and quietly, and when you connect, a pleasant British voice tells you that you're connected and what codec you have. Nice gesture.
