I am a mother of two and Nutribullet grinds in the kitchen every day. The blades I bought here lasted a couple of weeks and then I noticed they started to wear down the base. It looks like brown metal every time. I open it carefully to remove the blade and put it away to wash so it doesn't come into contact with the food inside. But today as I was grinding the pesto I could smell smoke like something was burning. And it didn't come from outside. It came from within. I'm really worried if the metal has seeped into the food all these days. Recently health problems started in my house. I was investigating (after today's incident where the blade was hot and hissing from the inside) if there were any complaints of lead poisoning on these blades. I'm seeing some disturbing results. It's very scary. Buyers please be careful, if these blades don't fit, please return them or discard them.
