Steel components are badly needed

Now that my family rides bikes and three of their own, I've finally invested in a bike service stand. However, there are many options for the design of the legs and clamps, which makes it difficult to choose. Most important to me is the design of the clamp that allows the bike to rotate easily and securely. The other is the ability to minimize disk space. The SONGMICS USBR04B model has special features:+ 360° rotating head.+ 90° rotating head for compact storage.+ The lever on the back of the bike clamp allows easy and secure rotation.+ It also has a lighter bipod design, this can withstand loads of up to 55 lbs.+ I also like the rectangular tool tray which can hold more tools and parts.+ Another benefit is the solid rubber clamp handles.- The rubber jaws aren't as strong and thick.- The biggest Problem is that all the quick-release parts are made of soft aluminum, including threaded bolts, nuts, barrel nuts, levers, caps, etc. The most important component, the bike clamp lever, is made of aluminum, as is the bipod and the height. Adjustment Lever - The leg clamp needs to be very tight or the legs will start to buckle when the bike is in place. It feels like the black plastic parts are stronger than the aluminum bolts/nuts/quick release lever assemblies. I have to be careful and careful to adjust the levers to line up with the curve of the barrel nut or they break easily if they are too tight and not aligned with the barrel as some users have experienced. With care, this stand is very useful and may have a limited lifespan. But I don't even know how carefully and meticulously I will adjust the triggers so that the wear on the soft aluminum parts does not fall apart.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging
